Short answers to the usual ones.
Does the audio of my meetings leave my computer?
No. Speech-to-text runs on your computer with Whisper, and audio is not uploaded. Only the transcribed text, and screen content when you use screen-aware features, is sent to the AI model to write answers.
Will it show up when I share my screen?
With Shield on, most tools will not capture it. Shield asks your operating system to exclude the overlay from screen capture. We cannot guarantee every tool or setup, so test with your meeting app first. Zoom needs its window-filtering share option turned on. Shield is part of the Ultimate plan.
What is the difference between a Session and Quick Assist?
A Session is timed and saved to your encrypted history with a recap. Quick Assist is for a one-off question and keeps nothing. Only one can run at a time.
Which AI models does it use?
It works out of the box with our built-in premium model. There are no keys to manage.
Do I need to sign in?
You can use the Free plan without an account. To sync your license and unlock Pro or Ultimate across reinstalls, sign in with Google.
What languages does it support?
English out of the box today. Whisper's multilingual models cover 50+ languages: pick the model in Settings and set the language.
Are my skills private?
Skills are stored encrypted on your computer and are not uploaded for storage. Relevant excerpts are sent with your question to the AI model when you ask for an answer. Files you mark private are excluded from both answers and exports.
